One of the ways we're trying to affect positive change is by collating first-hand experiences of care for older people or those with special needs from the care users, their families, friends or professionals.
Here, you can leave your story about your experience with end of life protocols in hospitals or care homes, or your experience with care homes in general.
Our aim is to use information about failures and mistakes to encourage learning and improvement. We also welcome stories of great care and positive experiences so that we can share best practice.
We've received feedback that people find it cathartic to share their experience, marking an important step in recovering from traumatic experiences, where they didn't feel listened to.
